La kermesse dei più piccoli porta a Roma seimila persone. Sport, giochi, divertimento e sani principi.
Un bellissimo week-end di sport, gente entusiasta, gesta memorabili.
Due giorni faticosi, ma ne è valsa la pena, la passione ha superato la stanchezza e la fatica dei preparativi.
Il torneo Kim e Liù, giunto alla nona edizione, nella splendide cornice del Giulio Onesti di Roma, ha visto partecipare più di 2500 bambini tra quelli iscritti alla gara di taekwondo e quelli impegnati con le attività ludiche.
Gli incontri (ben 1120 in due giorni) hanno entusiasmato sia il pubblico che gli addetti ai lavori e i campioni in erba insieme ai loro coach hanno saputo dimostrare spirito sportivo, lealtà, autocontrollo e concentrazione. Ma l’immagine più bella è che dopo essersi affrontati sul quadrato, i bambini hanno ripreso a giocare insieme, come se niente fosse, incuranti di chi avesse vinto o meno.
Quest’anno poi il Kim e Liù ha aperto le porte anche ai piccoli atleti europei che fanno parte della Union Taekwondo Union (ETU) e sorpresa nella sorpresa, ha ospitato anche la squadra dimostrativa del Kukkiwon.
Infatti, in occasione del 130° anniversario delle relazioni Italo-Coreane, la Federazione Italiana Taekwondo insieme all’ambasciata di Corea in italia ha inviato in Italia, la più spettacolare tra le squadre dimostrative di Taekwondo nel mondo, quella del Kukkiwon.
Ma le sorprese non si sono esaurite in questo modo, i colpi di scena sono continuati con l’arrivo sui campi di gara dei Campioni Olimpici, Carlo Molfetta e Mauro Sarmiento!
I bambini sono letteralmente impazziti e hanno fatto a gara per richiedere gli autografi ai loro idoli, e loro, mai stanchi e con il sorriso stampato in viso non hanno esitato ad accontentare i piccoli fans.
L'appuntamento è per l'anno prossimo con la decima edizione del torneo di bambini più grande e più famoso d'Europa. Arrivederci al Kim e Liù X

3. Contestants
3.1 Membership: all participants (Athletes and Officials) must be member of a National Taekwondo Federation (ETU)
Each athlete must present a valid national ID card or international passport at the weigh-in in order to prove their identity, as well as a photocopy (or the original) of their last technical grade diploma (document) – all participants must hold at least 8th Kup.
3.2 Categories:
Group A: male and female (head contact with headgear and face mask)
-27, -30, -33 -37, -41, 45, -49, -53, -57, +57 kg
Group B: male and female (NO head contact)
-21, 24, -27, -30, -33, -37, -41, -45, -49, +49kg
Group C: male and female (NO head contact)
-17, -20, -23, -26,-29, -33, -37, -41, -44, +44 kg
3.3 Age
Group A competitors: born in 2003 - 2004
Group B competitors: born in 2005 - 2006
Group C competitors: born in 2007 - 2008
3.4 Graduation
Each group will be divided into the followings belts:
WY: White and Yellow (10th Kup to 7th)
GB: Green and Blue (6th Kup to 3rd)
RP: Red and Poom (2nd Kup to Poom)
4. Rules
4.1 Mode: Single elimination tournament system
Elimination rounds and finals: 3 x 1 min. (Group A)
2 x 1 min. (Group B and C)
4.2 Awards: 1st, 2nd and two 3rd places will be awarded
4.3 Hall Rules: Only the competitors and their coaches will have admittance
One (1) for every four (4) competitors.
4.4 Equipment: Daedo WTF-recognized PSS shall be provided for all competition
areas and all weight divisions.
Headgear without face mask, groin, forearm, shin, mouthpiece and gloves will be brought
by the contestants, which is compulsory. Sensor socks will not be provided by the
organization team and must be purchased by each competitor. WTF recognized uniform
and protective equipment
4.5 Liability: all competitors are considered to partecipate at their own risk.
The Italian Taekwondo Federation assume no responsibility for any damages, injuries or
losses. Due circumstances the organization committee can decide to adjust the competition
All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Italy

6. Entry
6.1 Visa Application:
In order to give support to get the visas it is necessary to send a correct written application form (please filled up and stamped the attached form, and send it with passports’ copies)

6.2 Registration: Taekoplan Tournament Subscription

6.3 Deadline: May 25, 2014 Entries after deadline will not be accepted
6.4 Procedure: Application is only valid when payment has been done at the same time of
registration. If the athlete registered on-line (http://www.tpss.nl) does not take
part in the competition, but he/she has not been removed from the list of
participants before the deadline (May 25, 2014) his/her team or official must
fully (100%) pay his/her Entry fee for participation.
Entry fee is not refundable at any time after the deadline!
